DEATH : A FEAR

It takes a lot to show courage when you are helpless. Death is the ultimate stage for us.  We don't know what will happen after this and the same might be the reason for the fear of people have of it.  No one wants to die.  Each and every religion, mythology or person has some belief that we have to pay for our sins after death. We'll be punished for the wrongs we have done during our life.  Neither people know what the punishment is nor do they know if such  a thing exists, but it still frightens them. All that is belief. If you have seen Game of Thrones then in the first season a character named Syrio Forel tells Arya Stark 'there is only one god, Death, and whenever it comes we say NOT TODAY.' No matter what your religion is, who you are,  death will come to you and your answer will be the same for death. There are some people who are not afraid of death.  They enjoy what they have. Happiness is always around such people. They never compla...

NEUTRALLY : NIT KURUKSHETRA

Faded Memories You must have heard hostel life is amazing. Of course it is. It wasn't the first time when i was going to live in hostel. Before that I had lived in Kota. My journey started from 21st of July 2013 when i got NIT Durgapur in third counseling for JEE-Mains. I went to Delhi by train and then to Kolkata by air, reached Durgapur in the evening of 22nd. It was a quite different traveling experience for me as I was all alone. My cousin had advised my father not to assist me in my journey.  He told me all about the college life that he could from his own experience. I went all the way to Durgapur and reached there late night. From Kolkata i went by train. Stayed in lodge because there were no good hotels and Next day i went to NIT Durgapur. Before i left for NIT my father called me and told me about one more round of counseling. After visiting campus of NIT Durgapur and staying there for about a week i wanted to go to some other NIT. That college was really bad. Fin...

The Unanswered Question : It Hurts

We all have some ideal people in our life. In school, most of us have our school teachers as our idols, later some friend, someone in the family, someone in the neighborhood, some social worker, some movie star or some sports person. As we get older these perfect people sometimes fade away. While getting older, we start understanding how this world works, and if you come to know the reality and mentality of the people behind everything, then this place will never be the same for you as it was before. I was the fourth grandchild in my maternal family. The last one was born 6 years before I was. So that's why I was the most pampered one. My mom once told me that my Mama-Ji (her brother, my maternal uncle) bought me more than 20 dresses before I turned two. My uncle (younger brother of my father) bought me a pair of jeans. We used to live in a village at that time and I was the first kid to own a pair of jeans :P.  Time flies. I became older. I passed senior seconda...

You Never Know Where Your Dream Would Take You.

One plus 'One' ⇋ One, because the other 'one' never existed. Attachment with anyone is very difficult for me. Some of my friends and even I wonder how is that possible for anyone. Isn't it weird if you hear that person X does not have emotions. Of course it is. Even for me. But I wasn't emotionless before. Some incidents have transformed me into what I am today. It isn't bad. It helps me a lot. It made me stronger mentally and emotionally too. I made me confident in front of everyone. I don't get distracted from small things or emotions of people. Some of my friends say that my behavior is unpredictable because my decision are never based of attachments.  I'm elder son of my parents. So never got company of elder brother or sister. Except my cousins, who used come to our town during their exams only. When my cousin had exams I had someone to share. But after her exams when she returned I used to miss her. I wanted an elder sister at that ...

Thank God I Failed

Otherwise, I would never have known that life is this much beautiful!   Teenage, An age where everyone faces some problem due to sudden change in life. Everyone . I was no different. These changes make us aggressive and we try to hurt ourselves and start blaming or criticizing everything. We become more serious in life and that seriousness got me a story. So let me tell you what happened with me .. I was never that kind of kid who likes to bully someone or to blame others. I used to keep all the things to me and I still do the same. I don't like to share anything with anyone. Of course people are always there to help me if i ask them to help, but I ignored them as always. My parents were always there for me, but my father made me into a person who can not get attached easily to anyone . So I didn't want to bother them.  I believed in living in our own life and deal everything yourself, why take our problems to other people! . Somewhat good an...

Last Love

Sometimes priorities makes you to leave people. Sessionals were over and vacations started. Parikshit stayed in the hostel for some days to study something and to give a test of a company. He was not qualified for second round that was PI, So those three days were fully wasted. He had reservation on the day after the test and his train was in night so he had a complete day to enjoy or visit somewhere in the Pink City, state capital of Rajasthan. He asked friends in group to go for the movie. Most of them are from CS and IT so they were placed and were at home. He decided to go there with Bhoomi. They are good friends for last five years and things were not too good since he started preparing for some competitive exam. He doesn't get enough time for her and she doesn't like that and this is the sole reason for some disputes between them. Parikshit was free for a whole day so he called Bhoomi and asked her to go for a movie. Only choice they had was “Pink”, because it was...

It was the time after the Diwali vacation and our school project was due There were five people in each group. I had Prithvee Raj Chouhan (not the king), Achin, Neha and Palak. It was mandatory for the students to come to school and do their projects there. Girls were allowed to leave after  6 in the evening while boys could leave till 7:30 . The task had to be completed in a week of Diwali vacations and we were doing well. Prithevee was good at it and he did really good work for the project. It was the day after the Diwali. We were in the the hall and doing our project. It was nearly 6 so Neha and Palak were about to leave. Suddenly Prashant sir came and he asked Prithvee and me to come with him. Actually there were two new boys who were good player of ba...
